Do the Illustrator Files still have layers?

I'm curious if the AI files you provide still contain the layers or if they have been flattened? I'm just curious if I include a tagline or web address that changes how difficult it will be to change the text.

Adobe Illustrator does not work in the same way as Photoshop. It is a misconception that Illustrator uses layers. (even though there is an option for this it is used only so that bitmap or simple vector shape files can be exported into Photoshop)

The Illustrator file is fully editable but the font alone is flattened. This means that you do not need to purchase the font or if a modified font is used you can still edit the file.

You can add and take away everything from the image. Even change colors should you desire.

Please let me know if you need anymore help.

Simon
