File type compatability

I have started my own business in web design/hosting and design most of my own graphics. I use Dreamweaver/Fireworks/Flash MX and noticed that you provide the "png" format upon request. How compatible are the other formats for use in Fireworks? I ask because I would like a logo made but do not know what the background will look like, so I need a transperant background on the logo. Long story short, is the "png" file the only one with a transperant background that I will be able to use with Fireworks MX?

The .png file format is compatable with almost all web browsers and web design software, such as Dreamweaver/Fireworks/Flash MX.

If you do require a specific file type for Fireworks, please let us know upon ordering and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

We create our designs using Adobe Illustrator, so we can provide .ai and .psd (not layered) files if you need them but you will need to check compatibility.
