Logo Design for Thriving Website

I am the owner of Smoking-Meat.com and as such, it needs a professional touch. I am a designer wannabe and I guess I got us this far but I think it is time for someone who REALLY knows what they are doing.

We are now #1 in google for several keywords.. the main one is "how to smoke meat" and "smoking meat" so we get lots of hits but lose more than 50% of them partly due to lack of aesthetics in my opinion.

I need a logo that represents what we are about and one that could be used on the website as well as on posters, Tshirts, keychains, on the side of my pickup, etc.

Asking too much? Very Happy

Anyway.. I really have no clue what I want. It's about smoking ribs, brisket, chicken, etc. It's about beautiful smoke coming from a smokestack on my horizontal smoker. I don't know.. it seems like every barbecue logo is a picture of a pig in front of a smoker and that is cool but I am looking for something creative that will standout ahead of the rest..

Any ideas?

I am ready to pay if you feel that you guys are ready for a guy who doesn't know what he wants.. this means you guys will have to do all the creative thinking and I may get some juices flowing once you do.. who knows! Rolling Eyes

Oh, by the way.. I would like to be able to also incorporate this logo with our forum at smokingmeatforums.com and with our monthly newsletter.
