Questions about $175 Corporate ID Offer |

Hi,
I have a few questions about your $175 Corporate ID offer:
1) You say it includes letter head. I take this to mean letter head with logo, company address and stuff at the top and maybe some info at the bottom (the footer). Does it also include a design for a continuation sheet for multi-page letters?
2) How much more does it cost to get a compliments slip design?
3) You say the lead time is 3 working days for logo concepts back. How long is the lead time if I go for the full $175 package?
Thanks,
- Julian |

Hi Julian,
The letterhead is as you described it, we incorporate your new logo with your contact details on a letterhead. We do not design continuation sheets because clients would then have to pay special printing charges for all their continuation sheets.
Some of our European clients prefer to swap their envelope design for a compliments slip and this is quite acceptable.
The lead time is still the same, we will send you your initial logo design choices in under three working days. We then revise the design of your choice until you are entirely happy with it. Once a final logo design is chosen we begin designing your stationery to match. |

Thanks for the very quick reply. I take your point about extra printing costs for continuation sheets and frankly I might well back off on this one but, if we did decide that we really did want continuation sheets, then what would be the incremental cost to include that in the package?
Now, as to what exactly I had in mind for what a continuation sheet should look like, well that's a good question. We did do them for the last company I was involved with but that was 3 years ago and I'm afraid that I can't for the life of me remember what they had on them. I think it was just the logo in the top right corner. I guess that with the logo file already designed that probably wouldn't challenge even my design skills so maybe it's a non issue and we just do it ourselves if needed.
Please don't spend a huge amount of time pricing this up, there is a very good chance we might not go for the continuation sheets, but if you have a figure conveniently to hand then that would be good to know. Thanks.

Hi again,
For a continuation sheet that closely follows the letterhead (albeit with fewer details) will cost $20 extra. |

Thanks for the answers so far. I'm pretty much set to press the order button on all this, but I have just a few last questions.
1) I think for now I will stick with the standard package, i.e. not bother with a continuation sheet. If we decide we need one at some point in the future then I assume that you keep all your past projects on file so that you could pick up the design files for the letterhead to use as the basis for the continuation sheet. What would the cost be for just the continuation sheet design if we came back to you 6 months later (say) and wanted just that done for us, i.e. the price when not ordered at the same time as the $175 offer?
2) In filling out the order form it becomes apparent just how much needs to be set up before we can fill in all the blanks, especially for the business cards (mobiles for myself and my business partner, fixed phone numbers for both of us, fax number, mailing address, etc). I would really like to get the logo design kicked off though. Is it OK to submit the order with most of the items required for the business cards set as TBD? I assume that once I place an order then I would get an email address that I could email you at so that I could let you know all the phone numbers etc once I have them set up. The reason I'd really like to get going on the logo is because the bank I am applying to get a business account with needs an application on the company letterhead so I figure that with at least the jpg for the logo then I can knock up a one-off letterhead myself in MS Word which will at least be good enough to get the bank account set up. I do of course fully realise that the full $175 would be billed to my credit card when I place my order and I only anticipate a few weeks delay before I have all the phone numbers so that the business cards could be completed. Please let me know if this would cause any problems.
3) What is your advice regarding business card sizes? I just looked at my stack of different people's business cards that I collected during my current job and they're all slightly different sizes. Is there a default size that you tend to design for?
Apart from the above I think I have all my questions answered.

Hi Julian,
There is no problems putting TBA on your contact details whilst we design your logo. We can complete the logo phase and even move forward with chosing a stationery design, then wait until you have confirmed your details.
The business cards are designed to standard sizes, it is the printers who use different sizes. We design our cards to be scalable to different print sizes.
If you were to order the continuation sheet at a later time I would do it for the same price, {as long as it isn't in 20 years time when prices may have gone up }
If you have any more questions you can mail me at:
