Get Your Free Sports Logo E-book

Following on from my blog post last week regarding logo design styles, I have put together a little e-book take-away for you to browse offline or print out and refer back to. I have given some top tips as well as showcased some of our sports logo designs which is one of our main specialties.

You have my permission to share this e-book but please do not change it or use the contents in any other context. If you spot any errors or think I have missed something, do let me know. The one thing I noticed and no matter how hard I tried, a couple of the designs have got a little pixelated during the conversion from open office doc to PDF. There is a link at the end of the book to the sports logo portfolio section where you can see all the designs in a much higher and sharper resolution.

The e-book covers several different sports like football, basketball, golf, hockey and a few others. It explains the different styles of logo and how each different style can be successfully used for most sports. You are not stuck with 1 style of logo, you do have a choice so download the e-book and dig deeper. No matter where you get your sports logo designed, you should not even think about selecting a designer until you have seen this e-book. It will save you countless hours of needless revision rounds and help you nail down your design in record time.

Let´s say for instance you run a football team. You want to have your supporters have access to some team merchandise and that means making your team logo look more professional. The first stage is to know you need to look more like a pro team. People will not pay their hard earned money for a design they are not proud to wear. Second you need to understand how you want your new brand to play out. Do you go for an animal like lot´s of other football teams or do you go for something else that will resonate with your supporters. What colors represent the team and is any one color superior to another. Then consider the layout of the design. Do you go for a text based logo, an illustrative design or an icon based design? These are all questions you are going to need to answer along with what you want to use the new logo for. Once the design takes shape you can get the team and support behind the logo so when it launches you hit the ground running. This sports e-book is going to help you focus and get organized so that when you push the button and order the new logo you have already solved most of the problems.
